In the Still of a Monday morning

The coffee is brewed and I sit here taking sips and waking up slowly. The house is quiet. My trusty blackberry has allowed me to answer emails from my over-acheiving, weekend working teammates.
I got to spend yesterday morning sitting in the Urgent care. Stupid Sinus infection. Hope I didn't catch any "new" bugs while I was waiting.
My mind is filled with what I must do today and what I should do today and knows that if I get through the "must" list I'll be lucky.
Off we go into the business world ....

Ahh Saturday

And just what was I thinking.. by 10 am I was responsible for 6 kids - 9,7,7,6,4,1 yes - those are the ages.. We are back down to a quasi manageble 4.. the two youngest of which are napping..
Me - Well the living room no longer looks like it has been inhabited by miniature crack addicts.. the kitchen shows some remants (the sticky floor still lives.) By the way - remind me to tell you about the "business sticky floor" - another day, another blog.
So WildMan and Skunk have slipped into the dreams of mid-day slumber.. Drama Queen and her buddy (let's just call her chatty cathy) have gone outside to play jumprope, hula- hoop and other 7 yo girl games; and it is quiet!!!
Me? Well, I still have 2 more end of year performance reviews to write, finish demolishing mount washmore and finding the floor to the bedrooms.. oh and lets not forget the sticky floor. Non-business dad has run off to the dump..my guess is he took the "long way."

Rib Night

Beef Ribs for dinner (or as nonbusiness dad calls it - Supper)
I think Skunk likes them?

Skunk is 19months old.. I gave him a rib - a whole rib.

So Here is Where I start

So, here I am. The Business Mom.. A middle management business woman, a manager, a wife, a mom, a Christian. My blog, I hope, will be a compilation of the working mom;with tidbits of the world of working womanhood. The trials of motherhood - the struggles and the joys.
I am 44 with three kids, 7 (Drama Queen), 4 (Wild Man) and 1(Skunk) years old. I have been married to Non-Business Dad for just shy of 12 years.
I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve so there will be cyber tears and laughs shared. Let's see how this goes....
